See Build up pics of the SILVEROD project truck by GCustoms.com This is a custom 2008 Chevy Silverado that has been customized to the fullest and in the running for the prestigous GM Design Award. A special Thank you to the guys at GCustoms.com (www.gcustoms.com) for allowing us to have the first crack at a online feature of this incrediable truck.

This one of a kind new body style Silverado has everything you can imagine. Not only did the guys at Gcustoms.com give this truck the looks but they gave it the power to boot. The start of this build included a custom LS7 Corvette swap,  ProCharger Supercharger kit and a Nitrous Express nitrous kit on this Silverod. The custom LS7 engine is completely dressed out for visual appeal with all the chrome accessories and complete chrome pulley kit. This is truly a force to be reconned with. Included in the engine swap are a set of stainless steel headers, custom ignition system, complete corvette electronics and Tremec Transmission.

Coming to the exterior this project was dealt some of the best products and talent in the country. The front end was equipped with a Keystone Restyling ram air hood, Street Scene Black Chrome Speed Grilles and SS Bumper Cover. To top that off, the first set of ANZO Usa LED Projector Headlights finished of the unique styling. Street Scene also offered a set of electric signal mirrors and eurthane rear rollpan for this project. The trucks bed was outfitted with a Gaylords X2000 bed cover, Wise Industries Bed Rug and a one of a kind natural purple bed wood kit from www.bedwoodandparts.com. The tailgate handle was relocated to the inside with a Sir Michaels handle relocator to finish of the sleak design. Finally House of Kolors paint offered the materials to paint a killer paint scheme that is truly a head turner. If that was not enough, the truck was equipped with a BAER big brake kit front and rear and a set of 24″ Giovanna Canelli wheels and Pirelli tires finished it off.  

The interior of the Silverod comes complete with a complete Kenwood audio and mobile video package with navigation and all the bells and whistles. The fiberglassed center console was painted to match and custom 07 Corvette seats where recovered in exotic leather to match the theme. Empire billet pedals finish off the interior for a truly custom truck.
